TroveOrganics Organic Soap Line

TroveOrganics new line of soaps has become the newest addition to my skincare routine. Kelly has outdone herself with how perfectly cured these beautiful bars of soap are and how wonderfully sudsy they become once in the water.

I have been experimenting with different vegan soap shops on Etsy, trying to find one that suits my skincare needs, caters to sensitive skin, and isn’t filled with nonsense ingredients. However, I learned that not all soaps are curated equal and finding one that lathers well is another challenge in itself.

A few months ago I discovered a soap shop on Etsy, and the prices were amazing! 3 bars of soap for $20, not just the prices but the scents were wonderful as well. After using the soap, I discovered it takes a lot of rubbing and water in order to create a decent amount of suds. Furthermore, the soap didn’t last as long and it left my skin feeling dry even though it was made with coconut oil and Shea butter. Don’t get me wrong, I know not one product works for all, but I was a bit disappointed.

At the time, TroveOrganics was not selling soap bars and so I stocked up on her vegan lotion bars to compensate for my dry skin.

To my excitement, Kelly launched her line of soaps in March and I immediately added a few to my cart and checked out.

I ordered her Honey & Oatmeal the Orange & Aloe Shea Soap bars and Kelly kindly sent me the Ylang Ylang & Lavender to try. I have used three out of her seven cold-pressed soaps and I’m hooked, here are my reviews of the first three.

The Ylang Ylang & Lavender soap has delightful hints of peppermint, lavender, and Ylang Ylang. It’s palm oil free and is instead infused with coconut, maize, sunflower, and olive oils and has such a delightful lather.

This bar of soap lasted me three weeks and it was the first bar that I’ve tried. After three weeks, I definitely noticed a change in my skins moisture level and I was intrigued to use the next bar.

Can you see the beautiful speckles of ground oatmeal? It’s a wonderful exfoliant. The Honey & Oatmeal soap is free of palm oil as well, but still contains the wonderful oils from coconut, maize, sunflower, and olive. The scent of this bar is light and airy, with bits of honey.

This bar of soap also lasted three weeks. I had a few patchy spots on my skin and it helped clear and soften all of it up! A soap bar, can you believe that? Her vegan lotion bars may have helped as well, but I thoroughly enjoyed this soap and all of its sudsy benefits.

Last, but definitely not least, the Orange & Aloe Shea butter soap. I officially claim this as my summer scent! I’m not sure if it’s the aloe, juniper berries, orange mica, or maybe the combination of all three but this citrus scent is absolutely heavenly! It fills my shower with bright notes of sunshine and reminds me of sunny days outside of this quarantine.

Those wonderful speckles of orange lasted about two weeks and I believe it’s because I used it twice a day on myself and used it on my ten month old as well, the refreshing scent was a great way to start her mornings and open her lungs. I’m delighted that I can use products on myself and on my daughters, harmful chemicals have no room in our home.

I recently placed an order for more soap from TroveOrganics and I can’t wait to share my reviews on those as well!

If you ask me, Kelly has changed the soap game. Her organic soaps don’t contain fillers, dyes or perfumes, there are no phthalates, parabens, formaldehyde, para-aminobenzoic acid (PABA), ethanolamines and petroleum. All of her ingredients are 100% organic and sourced from nature.
