I experimented in the kitchen and came up with this recipe (as I do all of my recipes) but I’m proud of this one and I’m going to attempt to do it again soon, but with a few twists. Puerto-Rican Rice and Beans (Arroz con Gandules)

Rice and beans! Who doesn’t love a delicious plate of authentic arroz con gandules? What I love the most is how simple this rice dish is but the intensity of the flavors! You can add olives, pimentos, and even diced ham.
